We are seeing the printing service recover. PDF generation and attachments seem to be working. We are closely monitoring the status.

GCP still has not updated their status page or provided an explanation on what is causing the outage. Widespread issues are reported by Shopify as well: https://www.shopifystatus.com/incidents

Identified

There appears to be an issue with Google Cloud Platform. We are working with them and determining impact.

This incident affected: ERP, WMS, 3PL Integrations, Inventory Planner, Search, REST API, Data Warehouse, Fulfil Sync MQ (Remote printing), Asynchronous Tasks Engine, PDF Generator, Attachments, Webhooks, Payment Gateways (Stripe API), Shipping Carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL Express, DHL eCommerce, USPS (Endicia), USPS (EasyPost), USPS (Shippo), USPS (Pitney Bowes), Newgistics (Pitney Bowes), First mile, Australia Post, Canada post), Support and Helpdesk (Helpdesk (Zendesk)), Other third-party services (Avalara Tax Calculation Service), and Authentication (Auth0 User Authentication, Login service and SSO).
